Turning Torso is a skyscraper located in Malmö, Sweden. Completed in 2005, it stands at 190 meters tall, making it the tallest building in Sweden and the tallest residential building in Scandinavia. The design, created by architect Santiago Calatrava, features a unique twisting shape that resembles a human torso, with each of its nine segments rotating slightly.
The building consists of 147 apartments and offers stunning views of the surrounding area, including the Öresund Strait and the city of Copenhagen. Turning Torso is not only a residential space but also a symbol of modern architecture and innovation in urban design.
