Tulu language
Tulu is a Dravidian language primarily spoken in the southwestern region of India, particularly in the coastal districts of Karnataka and Kerala. It has around 2 million speakers and is known for its rich oral tradition, including folk songs and stories. Tulu is written in the Tulu script, which is derived from the Brahmi script.
The language has a unique phonetic structure and vocabulary, distinguishing it from other Dravidian languages like Kannada and Telugu. Tulu is also recognized for its cultural significance, as it plays a vital role in the identity of the Tuluva community. Efforts are ongoing to promote and preserve the language through education and literature.
