Tjibaou Cultural Center
The Tjibaou Cultural Center is located in Nouméa, the capital of New Caledonia. Opened in 1998, it was designed by the renowned architect Renzo Piano to celebrate and preserve the culture of the indigenous Kanak people. The center features a series of pavilions that house exhibitions, workshops, and performances related to Kanak traditions and arts.
