Thomas Nevill, 4th Earl of Westmorland
Thomas Nevill, 4th Earl of Westmorland, was a prominent English nobleman born in 1536. He was the son of Richard Nevill, 3rd Earl of Westmorland and inherited the title in 1571. His family was influential in the northern regions of England, and he played a significant role in the politics of his time.
Westmorland was known for his involvement in the Northern Rebellion of 1569, which aimed to restore Mary, Queen of Scots to the throne. Following the failure of the rebellion, he fled to Flanders and lived in exile until his death in 1601.
