Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan
Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is an Islamist militant group based in Pakistan. Formed in 2007, it aims to impose a strict interpretation of Sharia law and opposes the Pakistani government. The group is known for its violent attacks, including bombings and assaults on military and civilian targets.
The TTP is linked to other militant organizations, including the Afghan Taliban. It has been involved in various conflicts in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas. The Pakistani military has conducted operations against the TTP to curb its influence and restore stability in the region.
