Tayal people
The Tayal people, also known as the Atayal, are an indigenous group primarily found in the mountainous regions of Taiwan. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, including traditional weaving, music, and dance. The Tayal language belongs to the Austronesian language family, and many community members still speak it today.
Historically, the Tayal were skilled hunters and farmers, relying on the natural resources of their environment. They have a strong connection to their land and practice various rituals that reflect their beliefs and customs. In recent years, efforts have been made to preserve their culture and promote their rights within Taiwanese society.
