Tarakasura is a demon from Hindu mythology, known for his immense power and strength. He was born to the sage Vishrava and was a formidable foe to the gods. Tarakasura received a boon that made him nearly invincible, allowing him to challenge the divine beings and create chaos in the heavens. To defeat Tarakasura, the gods sought the help of Lord Shiva. He was instructed to marry Parvati, who was the reincarnation of Sati, to give birth to a son capable of vanquishing the demon. This son, Kartikeya, ultimately defeated Tarakasura, restoring peace to the universe.
