Shiva is one of the principal deities in Hinduism, known as the "Destroyer" within the holy trinity, or Trimurti, which also includes Brahma the creator and Vishnu the preserver. He is often depicted with a third eye, symbolizing wisdom and insight, and is associated with meditation, yoga, and the arts. His dance, known as Tandava, represents the cosmic cycles of creation and destruction.
Shiva is also revered as a compassionate god who helps devotees overcome their fears and obstacles. He is often shown with his consort, Parvati, and their children, Ganesha and Kartikeya. Many followers worship him through rituals and offerings, seeking his blessings for peace
