Vishrava
Vishrava is a character from Hindu mythology, known primarily as the father of Ravana, the king of Lanka. He is often depicted as a wise sage and a learned Brahmin, possessing great knowledge and spiritual power. Vishrava is the son of Pulastya, one of the ten Prajapatis or mind-born sons of Brahma, the creator god in Hindu belief.
In the epic Ramayana, Vishrava's marriage to Kaikesi, a demoness, leads to the birth of several powerful offspring, including Ravana and Kumbhakarna. His lineage plays a significant role in the narrative, as Ravana becomes a central antagonist in the story, challenging the ideals of dharma and righteousness.
