Tamil language
The Tamil language is a Dravidian language predominantly spoken in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and in parts of Sri Lanka. It is one of the oldest continuously spoken languages in the world, with a rich literary tradition that dates back over 2,000 years.
Recognized as one of the official languages of India, Tamil is also an official language in Singapore and Malaysia. The language has a unique script and is known for its classical literature, including ancient poems and philosophical texts, which reflect the culture and history of the Tamil people.
