TR-069
TR-069 is a technical standard developed by the Broadband Forum that enables remote management of customer premises equipment (CPE) such as routers and modems. It allows service providers to automatically configure, monitor, and troubleshoot devices, improving customer support and reducing operational costs.
The protocol uses a client-server model, where the CPE acts as the client and the service provider's server manages it. This communication is secured through encryption, ensuring that sensitive data remains protected. TR-069 helps streamline the deployment of services and enhances the overall user experience by enabling faster issue resolution.
