CWMP
CWMP, or CPE WAN Management Protocol, is a network management protocol designed to facilitate the remote management of customer premises equipment (CPE). It allows service providers to automate the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of devices like routers and modems, improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.
The protocol is standardized by the Broadband Forum and is commonly used in broadband networks. CWMP enables devices to communicate with a management server, ensuring that updates and configurations can be applied seamlessly. This helps maintain optimal performance and enhances the user experience for customers relying on internet services.
