Syed Ahmad Khan
Syed Ahmad Khan (1817-1898) was a prominent Indian Muslim scholar, reformer, and educator. He is best known for his efforts to promote modern education among Muslims in India during the 19th century. He founded the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College in Aligarh, which later became the Aligarh Muslim University, a significant institution for higher education.
