Sultan Saladin
Sultan Saladin, born in 1137, was a prominent Muslim leader known for his role during the Crusades. He founded the Ayyubid dynasty and became the first Sultan of Egypt and Syria. Saladin is best remembered for his efforts to recapture Jerusalem from the Crusaders in 1187, which he achieved after a series of battles.
