Sultan Al-Kamil
Sultan Al-Kamil, also known as Al-Kamil Muhammad, was the ruler of the Ayyubid dynasty in Egypt from 1218 to 1238. He was the son of Salah ad-Din, the famous leader known for his role in the Crusades. Al-Kamil is recognized for his diplomatic skills and efforts to maintain peace during a turbulent period in the region.
During his reign, Al-Kamil faced challenges from the Crusaders and internal conflicts. He is notable for his negotiations with Frederick II, the Holy Roman Emperor, which led to a temporary truce. His leadership contributed to the stability of Egypt and the surrounding territories during his time.
