Sufi Tradition
The Sufi Tradition is a mystical branch of Islam that emphasizes the inward search for God and spiritual closeness. Sufis seek to experience divine love and knowledge through practices such as meditation, chanting, and poetry. They often follow a spiritual guide, known as a sheikh, who helps them on their journey toward enlightenment.
Central to the Sufi Tradition is the concept of Tawhid, or the oneness of God, which encourages followers to see the divine in all aspects of life. Sufi orders, or tariqas, provide structured paths for spiritual development, often incorporating rituals and communal gatherings to foster a sense of unity and devotion among practitioners.
