Suchomimus
Suchomimus was a large dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, around 112 million years ago. It belonged to the group of dinosaurs known as spinosaurids, which are characterized by their long snouts and sharp teeth, adapted for catching fish. Suchomimus could grow up to 30 feet long and had a distinctive sail-like structure on its back.
Fossils of Suchomimus have been found in what is now Niger, Africa. Its name means "crocodile mimic," reflecting its resemblance to modern crocodiles. This dinosaur primarily fed on fish, using its elongated jaws to catch prey in rivers and lakes.
