Spinosaurus
Spinosaurus was a large dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous period, around 100 to 93 million years ago. It is known for its distinctive sail-like structure on its back, formed by elongated neural spines. This dinosaur could grow up to 50-60 feet long, making it one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs.
Unlike many other dinosaurs, Spinosaurus is believed to have been semi-aquatic, spending a significant amount of time in water. Its long, crocodile-like snout and conical teeth suggest it primarily fed on fish. Fossil evidence indicates that it inhabited regions that are now part of North Africa.
