Baryonyx
Baryonyx was a large dinosaur that lived during the early Cretaceous period, around 130 million years ago. It was a carnivorous theropod, known for its long, crocodile-like snout and large claws, particularly on its first finger. This unique anatomy suggests that Baryonyx may have hunted fish and other aquatic prey.
Fossils of Baryonyx have been found primarily in Europe, particularly in England. It was about 8 to 10 meters long and walked on two legs. Its distinctive features make it an important species for understanding the diversity of theropod dinosaurs and their adaptations to different environments.
