Stefan Uroš IV Dušan
Stefan Uroš IV Dušan, commonly known as Dušan the Mighty, was a Serbian king and later emperor who ruled from 1331 to 1355. He is best known for expanding the Serbian Empire to its greatest territorial extent, incorporating parts of modern-day Macedonia, Albania, and Greece. His reign marked a significant period of cultural and political development in Serbia.
Dušan implemented a series of reforms, including the establishment of the Dušan's Code, which was one of the first legal codes in the region. He was crowned emperor in 1346, solidifying his power and influence in the Balkans. His legacy is remembered for both military conquests and advancements in governance.
