St. Stanislaus Kostka
St. Stanislaus Kostka was a Polish Jesuit saint born on December 28, 1550, in the town of Zagórze. He is known for his deep spirituality and commitment to the Catholic faith from a young age. After joining the Society of Jesus, he faced opposition from his family but remained dedicated to his religious vocation.
St. Stanislaus died on August 15, 1568, at the age of 17. He was canonized by Pope Pius IX in 1726. His feast day is celebrated on November 13, and he is recognized as the patron saint of students and young people, symbolizing the pursuit of education and faith.
