St. John of Kanty
St. John of Kanty, also known as St. John Kanty, was a Polish priest and scholar born in 1390 in the town of Kanty, Poland. He is best known for his deep faith, humility, and dedication to education. After studying at the University of Kraków, he became a professor and later a parish priest, where he was admired for his kindness and generosity.
He is the patron saint of students and teachers, celebrated for his commitment to learning and teaching. St. John of Kanty died in 1473, and his feast day is observed on December 23. His life continues to inspire many in the fields of education and spirituality.
