Solar Probes
Solar probes are spacecraft designed to study the Sun and its various phenomena. They gather data about solar winds, magnetic fields, and solar radiation, helping scientists understand the Sun's behavior and its impact on the solar system.
One of the most notable solar probes is the Parker Solar Probe, launched in 2018. It travels closer to the Sun than any previous spacecraft, allowing it to collect unprecedented information about the Sun's outer atmosphere, known as the corona. This research is crucial for predicting space weather and protecting technology on Earth.
