Skanderbeg Mountains
The Skanderbeg Mountains are a mountain range located in Albania, named after the national hero Gjergj Kastrioti, known as Skanderbeg. This range is part of the larger Dinaric Alps and features rugged terrain, deep valleys, and diverse ecosystems. The highest peak, Maja e Korabit, reaches an elevation of 2,764 meters, making it the tallest mountain in Albania.
