Shrink Wrapping
Shrink wrapping is a packaging method that involves covering an item with a plastic film that shrinks tightly around it when heat is applied. This process protects the item from dust, moisture, and damage during storage and transportation. Shrink wrap is commonly used for products like food, electronics, and furniture.
The shrink wrapping process typically involves placing the item in a sheet of polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film. After sealing the edges, heat is applied using a heat gun or a shrink tunnel, causing the film to contract and conform to the shape of the item. This creates a secure and tamper-evident package.
