Shoulderstand
Shoulderstand, or Salamba Sarvangasana, is a yoga pose where the body is inverted, supported by the shoulders. In this position, the legs are extended upward, and the back is straight, creating a straight line from the shoulders to the feet. This pose is often practiced for its benefits in improving circulation and calming the mind.
To perform Shoulderstand, begin by lying on your back and lifting your legs over your head. Support your lower back with your hands as you raise your legs vertically. It is important to keep the neck relaxed and avoid turning the head while in this position to prevent strain.
