Shia Mosque
A Shia Mosque is a place of worship for followers of Shia Islam, one of the two main branches of Islam. These mosques serve as community centers where prayers, religious education, and social gatherings take place. They often feature unique architectural styles, reflecting the cultural heritage of the regions where they are located.
Inside a Shia mosque, you may find a mihrab, which indicates the direction of Mecca, and a minbar for delivering sermons. Many Shia mosques also have areas for commemorating significant events in Islamic history, particularly those related to the life of Imam Ali and other key figures in Shia belief.
