Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani
Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani was a prominent Islamic scholar and Sufi mystic born in 1077 in Gilan, Persia. He is best known for founding the Qadiriyya order, one of the oldest Sufi brotherhoods, which emphasizes spiritual development and devotion to God. Jilani's teachings focused on the importance of inner purification and the pursuit of divine knowledge.
He spent much of his life in Baghdad, where he attracted many followers through his sermons and writings. His most famous work, the Ghuniyat al-Talibin, outlines the principles of Sufism and guides seekers on their spiritual journey. Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani is revered by many Muslims for his piety and wisdom.
