Serbian Geography
Serbia is a landlocked country located in Southeast Europe, in the central part of the Balkans. It is bordered by Hungary to the north, Romania to the northeast, Bulgaria to the southeast, North Macedonia to the south, and Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro to the west. The country features diverse landscapes, including plains, hills, and mountains, with the Carpathians and Dinaric Alps in the west and south.
The Danube River, one of Europe's major rivers, flows through Serbia, providing important waterways for trade and transportation. The country has several national parks, such as Tara and Fruska Gora, which showcase its natural beauty and biodiversity. Serbia's climate is continental, with hot summers and cold winters, contributing to its varied ecosystems.
