Salt Products
Salt products refer to various forms of salt used for culinary, industrial, and health purposes. Common types include table salt, sea salt, and kosher salt, each differing in texture and flavor. Table salt is often iodized to prevent iodine deficiency, while sea salt is harvested from evaporated seawater and may contain trace minerals.
In addition to cooking, salt products are used in food preservation, such as curing meats and pickling vegetables. They also play a role in de-icing roads during winter. Other salt products include bath salts, which are used for relaxation and skin care, and salt lamps, believed to have air-purifying properties.
