Saint Norbert was a Christian saint and the founder of the Premonstratensian Order, also known as the Norbertines. Born around 1080 in Xanten, Germany, he dedicated his life to reforming the clergy and promoting a communal way of life among priests. Norbert emphasized the importance of living in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ. He was ordained a priest and later became the Bishop of Augsburg.
