Norbertines
The Norbertines, also known as the Premonstratensians, are a Roman Catholic religious order founded by Saint Norbert in 1120. They follow the Rule of Saint Augustine and emphasize community life, prayer, and service. Their members, called canons, live in abbeys and engage in various ministries, including education and pastoral care.
The order spread throughout Europe and has a rich history of contributing to the Church and society. Norbertines are known for their commitment to the liturgy, particularly the celebration of the Divine Office, and they often run parishes and schools, promoting spiritual growth and community service.
