Rupa Gosvami
Rupa Gosvami was a prominent saint and scholar in the Gaudiya Vaishnavism tradition, which focuses on the worship of Lord Krishna. Born in the 16th century in India, he was a close associate of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who inspired him to spread the teachings of devotion and love for God.
Rupa Gosvami is best known for his literary contributions, including the famous text Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu, which outlines the principles of devotional service. He played a crucial role in establishing the philosophical foundations of Vaishnavism and is revered as one of the six Goswamis of Vrindavan.
