Gaudiya Vaishnavism
Gaudiya Vaishnavism is a devotional tradition within Hinduism that focuses on the worship of Lord Krishna as the supreme deity. It originated in the 16th century in Bengal, India, through the teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who emphasized love and devotion (bhakti) as the path to spiritual realization.
The tradition teaches that through chanting the Hare Krishna mantra and engaging in devotional practices, followers can develop a personal relationship with Krishna. Gaudiya Vaishnavism also highlights the importance of community and the role of spiritual leaders, known as gurus, in guiding devotees on their spiritual journey.
