Running Tracks
A running track is a specially designed surface for athletes to run on, typically found in sports facilities and schools. It is usually oval-shaped, with lanes marked for individual runners. The standard distance for a track is 400 meters around the outer lane. Tracks are made from materials like rubber or polyurethane, providing a cushioned surface that reduces the risk of injury.
Running tracks are often used for various athletic events, including sprints, middle-distance, and long-distance races. They are also popular for training and fitness activities. Many tracks have additional features, such as field events areas for long jump and high jump, making them versatile spaces for different sports.
