Rukn al-Din Khurshah
Rukn al-Din Khurshah was the last ruler of the Zengid dynasty, governing from 1193 to 1196. He was the son of Imad al-Din Zengi, a prominent leader known for his military campaigns against the Crusaders. Khurshah's reign was marked by internal strife and external threats, particularly from the Crusader states and rival Muslim factions.
His rule ended when he was overthrown by Saladin's forces, leading to the decline of the Zengid dynasty. After his defeat, Khurshah's fate remains uncertain, with historical records providing little information about his later life.
