Rotimi Amaechi is a Nigerian politician and former governor of Rivers State. He served as governor from 2007 to 2015 and is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Amaechi has held various political positions and is known for his contributions to infrastructure development in his state. In addition to his governorship, Amaechi served as the Minister of Transportation from 2015 to 2021 under President Muhammadu Buhari.
