Muhammadu Buhari
Muhammadu Buhari is a Nigerian politician and retired Major General in the Nigerian Army. He served as the President of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023. Buhari previously held the position of military ruler from 1983 to 1985 before being overthrown in a coup. His leadership focused on anti-corruption efforts and improving security in the country.
Buhari was born on December 17, 1942, in Daura, Katsina State, Nigeria. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party and has a background in military service and public administration. His presidency was marked by various economic challenges and efforts to combat terrorism, particularly from the Boko Haram group.
