Goodluck Jonathan
Goodluck Jonathan is a Nigerian politician who served as the President of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015. He was born on November 20, 1957, in Ogbia, Bayelsa State. Before becoming president, he held various political positions, including Vice President under Umaru Musa Yar'Adua and Governor of Bayelsa State.
Jonathan is known for his efforts to promote peace and stability in Nigeria, particularly during his presidency, which was marked by challenges such as the Boko Haram insurgency. After losing the 2015 election to Muhammadu Buhari, he became the first Nigerian president to concede defeat peacefully, a move that was praised both nationally and internationally.
