Roscón de Reyes
Roscón de Reyes is a traditional Spanish pastry enjoyed on Three Kings' Day, celebrated on January 6th. This round cake is typically decorated with candied fruits to resemble a crown and is often filled with cream or other sweet fillings. It symbolizes the arrival of the Three Wise Men who brought gifts to the baby Jesus.
Inside the cake, a small figurine and a dried bean are hidden. The person who finds the figurine is crowned king or queen for the day, while the one who finds the bean must buy the Roscón the following year. This festive treat is a beloved part of Spanish holiday traditions.
