Roman gods
The ancient Romans worshipped a variety of gods and goddesses, each representing different aspects of life and nature. Major deities included Jupiter, the king of the gods; Juno, his wife and goddess of marriage; and Mars, the god of war. These gods were often associated with specific symbols and rituals, and they played a central role in Roman culture and religion.
Roman gods were often adapted from Greek mythology, with many having similar attributes and stories. Temples were built in their honor, and festivals were held to celebrate them. The Romans believed that by honoring these deities, they could gain favor and protection in their daily lives.
