Rodna National Park
Rodna National Park is located in the Eastern Carpathians of Romania. Established in 1990, it covers an area of approximately 46,399 hectares. The park is known for its diverse ecosystems, including forests, alpine meadows, and glacial lakes. It is home to various wildlife species, such as bears, wolves, and chamois.
The park features several hiking trails that allow visitors to explore its natural beauty. One of the most notable peaks is Negoiu Peak, which offers stunning panoramic views. Additionally, the park is part of the Natura 2000 network, aimed at conserving Europe's natural heritage.
