Robert I of Burgundy
Robert I of Burgundy was a nobleman who lived during the 11th century. He was born around 1011 and became the Duke of Burgundy in 1032. Robert was known for his efforts to strengthen the power of the duchy and for his role in the politics of medieval France.
He was the son of Robert II of France and Constance of Arles. Robert I married Hildegarde of France, and they had several children, including Henry of Burgundy. His reign contributed to the development of the region, and he played a significant role in the feudal system of his time.
