Renfe
Renfe is the national railway company of Spain, responsible for operating the majority of the country's train services. Founded in 1941, it provides various types of train services, including high-speed trains, regional trains, and commuter trains, connecting major cities and towns across Spain.
The high-speed trains, known as AVE (Alta Velocidad EspaƱola), are particularly popular for their speed and comfort, significantly reducing travel times between cities like Madrid and Barcelona. Renfe also offers international services to neighboring countries, enhancing connectivity within Europe.
