Regions of Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan is divided into several regions, each with its own unique characteristics. The country is primarily organized into 10 economic regions, including Baku, the capital, which is known for its modern architecture and vibrant culture. Other notable regions include Ganja, famous for its historical sites, and Lankaran, known for its lush landscapes and tea production.
The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is a distinct region, separated from the main part of Azerbaijan by Armenia. It has a rich history and is home to several ancient monuments. Additionally, the Quba-Qusar region is recognized for its beautiful nature and diverse ethnic communities, contributing to Azerbaijan's cultural richness.
