Administrative Divisions of Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan is divided into several administrative divisions, primarily consisting of regions and cities. The country is organized into 66 administrative units, which include 59 districts and 11 cities. Each division has its own local government and administrative structure to manage local affairs.
In addition to the districts and cities, Azerbaijan also has an autonomous republic called Nakhchivan. This region operates independently but is still considered part of Azerbaijan. The administrative divisions help facilitate governance and provide essential services to the population across the country.
