Rajneesh
Rajneesh, also known as Osho, was an Indian spiritual leader and founder of the Rajneesh movement. Born on December 11, 1931, in Kuchwada, India, he gained popularity in the 1970s and 1980s for his teachings on meditation, love, and personal transformation. His approach combined elements of Eastern spirituality with Western philosophy, attracting a diverse following.
In 1981, Rajneesh established a commune in Oregon, USA, known as Rajneeshpuram. The commune became controversial due to its unconventional practices and conflicts with local residents. After legal issues and a series of events, he was deported from the United States in 1985. Rajneesh passed away on January 19, 1990, leaving behind a legacy of spiritual teachings.
