Rajkumar Shukla
Rajkumar Shukla was an Indian farmer and a key figure in the Indian independence movement. He is best known for his role in bringing Mahatma Gandhi to the Champaran district of Bihar in 1917 to address the grievances of local farmers who were being exploited by British planters.
Shukla's efforts led to the first significant civil disobedience movement in India, which focused on the rights of farmers. His determination and commitment to social justice helped raise awareness about the plight of farmers and contributed to the larger struggle for India's independence from British rule.
