Q'anjobal
Q'anjobal is a Mayan language spoken primarily in Guatemala, particularly in the Jalapa and San Marcos regions. It is one of the many languages in the Mayan language family and is recognized for its unique phonetic and grammatical features.
The Q'anjobal people, who speak this language, have a rich cultural heritage that includes traditional practices, music, and art. Efforts are ongoing to preserve and promote the Q'anjobal language and culture, especially in the face of globalization and language shift towards Spanish.
