Pyramid of Mikerinos
The Pyramid of Mikerinos, also known as the Pyramid of Menkaure, is the smallest of the three main pyramids located at Giza, Egypt. Built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom, it stands at about 65 meters (213 feet) tall. The pyramid was constructed as a tomb for the Pharaoh Menkaure and is made of limestone and granite.
Surrounding the pyramid are three smaller pyramids, believed to be dedicated to Menkaure's queens. The structure features a complex of mortuary temples and causeways, showcasing the advanced engineering skills of ancient Egyptians. The Pyramid of Mikerinos is a significant part of Egypt's rich archaeological heritage.
